Product Description
1, the introduction of rock wool board
Rock wool products take basalt and other natural rocks as raw materials. It is melted into fibers and then be hardened. During the process, suitable amount binder and oil are added.
Rock wool products are widely used in shipbuilding, metallurgy, electric power, construction and other industries with good performance of fireproof, thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and energy saving. It is the ideal thermal insulation materials which has been recognized internationally.
2, the production process of rock wool board
Rock wool is made from natural rocks such as basalt and dolomite, which are chosen with high quality. The rocks are melted in a cupola at temperature of more than 1500 degrees, then molten lava is fiberized by a spinner. The inorganic fibers and additives are bonded together using a thermosetting resin to form the final product which is cut into suitable sizes. Wired blanket, pipe cover and faced products are produced by secondary processes.
3,1 Fireproof Performance
Rock wool products take basalt and dolomites as raw materials with the melting point of over 1000 degrees centigrades. It will not release any poisonous smoke and can effectively cut off the spread of flam when fire occues.
3,2 Thermal Insulation Performance
Rock wool products has low thermal conductivity and excellent heat insulation performance because of its low shot content and spindly fibers. It can effectively reduce the heat loss of buildings to achieve energy-saving and emission-reduction.
3,3 Waterproof Performance
Rock wool products are waterproof, anti-aging and have good performance of long-term stability.
3,4 Acoustic Insulation
The theory of acoustic insulation is that the fibers is porous and connected, it can not only stop the spread of sound waves but also absorb them. The acoustic insulation performance has been widely recognized all over the word. And the density is lower, the performance is better.
3,5 Environmental Protection
The raw materials of phenix rockwool products are natural rocks. It does not contain any asbestons. The harmful materials such as CFC and HCFC which is harmful to the environment never be used during the production process.
